House Catches Fire, Three Escape (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne firefighters were on the scene of a house fire that occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday while three people were inside.

Firefighters from New Haven and Fort Wayne converged to the 1900 block near Lincoln Highway to extinguish the flames.

The home was occupied by only three people. The home owner, her boyfriend and her baby all escaped without any injuries.

The fire is reported to have originated in the attic and then began to spread throughout the house.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
