LaGrange County Mushroom Farm Goes Up In Flames

HOWE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Emergency personnel have responded to a report of a structure fire at the old Campbell's Mushroom Farm at 8125 E. 600 N. in Lagrange County.

According to officials, the first fire unit on the scene found a 330,000 square foot processing building with a heavy fire through the roof. Fire Departments from LaGrange County, Steuben County, DeKalb County, and Noble County have been called to the scene. In total there 40 departments at the scene of the fire.

The latest report from the LaGrange County Sheriff is that the fire is under control.
