Local Parasailing Accident Victim Fighting For Tougher Laws (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- It's been almost nine months since two Indiana girls nearly lost their lives while parasailing in Panama City, Florida.

But now, one of them fights to protect the lives of others.

17-year-old, Alexis Fairchild, is working with Florida State Senator, Maria Sach, in hopes of creating tougher safety laws.
