KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A scheduled fight over a love triangle leaves one man in critical condition after a brutal beating.
21-year-old Zachary Lee of South Whitley has been charged with aggravated battery.
Police say he's been dating the estranged wife of 26-year-old Jeremy Boxell of Huntington.
On Wednesday, officers responded to County Road 200-North, West of County Road 400-East in Kosciusko County.
They found Boxell bleeding from his eye and mouth with large bruises on his head and face.
He was last listed in critical condition.
Police say Lee and his brother told them he took Boxell to the ground in a choke hold and kicked him in the face, then left him on the road.
The estranged wife reportedly told investigators the two men had discussed having a fight.
