May Primary Is Less Than Week Away

Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The May 8th primary election is in just six days and time is running short for residents who want to vote early.

To vote early, residents can stop by the Allen County Election Board at 1 West Superior Street. If residents would rather vote or wait untilnext Tuesday at assigned election location.

There are 128 polling locations holding 470 voting machines handled by more than 800 poll workers.

Absentee ballots need to be turned in as soon as possible. Beth Dlug with the Allen County Election Board says, "Anyone who has an absentee mailed ballot should be making their decisions and make sure that they get those ballots back in the mail to us. We need to have those into the office by noon on election day."
