WASHINGTON, DC (www.incnow.tv) - The Pentagon has released the name of a highly decorated Navy Seal killed while rescuing an American hostage in Afghanistan.
28 year old Petty Officer First Class, Nicolas Checque of Monroeville, Pennsylvania died Sunday during a rescue mission that freed an American doctor. The operation was launched when coalition forces reported Dr. Dilip Joseph and two of his Afghan staff members were kidnapped last week.
Checque was assigned to an East coast special warfare command based in Norfolk, Virginia.
