FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Dozens of post offices in small towns and rural areas in northeast Indiana could have their hours of operations reduced under their latest proposal. This new plan would keep smaller post offices open but with fewer hours.
This plan would take two years to implement in multiple phases, finishing by September 2014. It would save about $500 million a year. The following post offices will be affected:

•Yoder
•Zanesville
•Andrews
•Ashley
•Corunna
•Craigville
•Hamilton
•Hudson
•Keystone
•Kimmell
•LaOtto
•Larwill
•Liberty Center
•Mongo
•Orland
•Petroleum
•Pleasant Lake
•Pleasant Mills
•Poneto
•Preble
•Rome City
•St. Joe
•Spencerville
•Stroh
•Uniondale
•Wawaka
•Wolf Lake
