Preferred Auto Gives Away Free Christmas Trees

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – A Fort Wayne car dealership spreads the Christmas spirit by handing out 300 free Christmas trees.

Preferred Auto owner Jay Leonard says they started the tree giveaway about 20 years ago and it has always been a big hit. He says every family should have a real tree in their home for the holidays.

“We don't want people to have to choose between a tree and a present, so to us it’s really important that we give some of these people things that others can't have. It’s pretty special for everybody here,” said Leonard.

Preferred Auto employees helped out by directing traffic and helping people load the trees onto their cars.
