FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Lawmakers passed a bill requiring computerized tracking by retailers of cold medicine used in the production of methamphetamine on Friday

The system would require the names of anyone purchasing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine be entered to a data base along with the amount of the drug that was purchased.

The bill now goes to the Governor for consideration.
