Thomas J. Berghoff, 92, Ft. Wayne passed away on October 25, 2009 at St. Anne Home. He was born to Herman JV Berghoff and Alice Klug. He graduated from St. Mary’s Commercial High School. He retired from Essex Wire in 1982. He served with the 106th Infantry Division 424th. 1st. Battalion Company B United States Army. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, motorcycles, and was a life-long member of the Olive Club. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mariana, Baby Josephine, son, Raymond, daughter-in-law Jeanine, grandson, Daniel, brothers,George, Gus, Barney, Tony, Paul, sister, Alice. Surviving are sons, Joseph (Linda) Greenville, OH, Frank, and Richard (Roxanne),both of Ft. Wayne, IN, daughters, Martha Ann(Thomas) Ottman, Columbus, OH, Marjorie (David) Foster, Jean (Ken) Sheets, all of Ft. Wayne, IN, daughter-in-law, Nancy Berghoff, Westfield, IN many grandchildren & great-grandchildren, brother, Robert, sisters Mary Cambre, Helen Nix and Carol Cofarro. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne Home 1900 Randallia Dr. will calling Tuesday 2-5 7-9 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. and one hour prior to service at St. Anne Home. Preferred Memorials to; American Heart Assoc. or St. Patrick’s Food Bank.
