NEW YORK (21Alive) - The end of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants' season-opening loss will be replayed after the NBA Development League approved a Mad Ants protest of the game.

The Mad Ants lost 100-99 on Nov. 22 at Texas after the Ants were erroneously assessed a technical foul for calling too many timeouts.

A incorrect statistical error showed the Ants had no timeouts remaining, hence the technical foul.

The game was tied at 99 with 0.9 seconds left in regulation when the technical was given.

D-League officials ruled Friday that the remaining Mad Ants and Legends will replay the final 0.9 seconds of the fourth quarter with the Ants in possession of the ball.

The date, location and time of the conclusion of the game has not been determined.
