CCHS Asst. Cross Country Coach Remembered

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (21Alive) - Days after a Columbia City High cross country assistant coach was killed in a snowmobile, the team finished the coach's final race.

Funeral services were held Monday night for Tim Herald, 43, of Columbia City. Herald died last Wednesday in a snowmobile crash in Michigan.

Members of the Columbia City cross country team ran as part of the funeral procession to Greenhill Cemetery, where Herald was laid to rest.

After the services, a reception was held at The Van Buren, where people shared fond stories of Herald.
