Northrop, Homestead Grab Boys Sectional Track Titles
(Fort Wayne) - Northrop piled up 143 points Thursday night to post a runaway win for the team title at the North Side boys track sectional.
The Bruins took wins in the 200, 800, 300 hurdles, two relays, and the pole vault. Carroll was second with 95 points and South Side third with 89. At Wayne, Homestead got wins iin both hurdles from Ross Heckber, as well as two relays, the pole vault, and the long jump to outdistance Harding for the team title with 165 points. Harding dominated the sprints, and also won the high jump, but came in second with 75.5 points. Norwell was third with 64. For highlights, click on the video video icon above. |
