Hendrick Racing Burns It Up At Brickyard

Hendricks Motorsports was at the top of the speed charts during practice for the 2008 Allstate Brickyard 400. Jimmie Johnson posted the fastest speed of the two sessions at 180.047 miles per hour, just shading teammate and four - time Brickyard winner Jeff Gordon. Gordon's best lap was 180.007 miles per hour. Ryan Newman was next fastest at 179.723 followed by Kasey Kahne at 178.934. Time trials are scheduled for Saturday with the green flag dropping for the race Sunday at 2:00 pm.
