IPFW Adds Two Men's Hoops Recruits

(Fort Wayne) - IPFW has completed its men's basketball recruiting with the signing of two more players for the 2009-10 season

Elgin "Eli" Lee and Oleg Kovalov have inked national letters of intent..

Lee, a 6'4"shooting guard comes to IPFW from Progressive Christian Academy in Camp Springs, Maryland where he averaged 25.5 points and five rebounds a game.

The Memphis Commercial Appeal named Lee to their "Best of the Preps" in both 2006-07 and 2007-08. Scouts Inc. rated him as "An Immediate Impact Prospect".

Kovalov is a 6'8"forward who can play either in the post or on the wing. He played last season at Cloud Community College in Concordia, Kansas, and averaged 9.1 points and five rebounds a game.
