FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Mad Ants Wednesday aanounced the first nine players for their training camp roster, including five returning players, two allocated players, and two players invited from local player open try-outs.

Returning from last season are Ron Howard, Chris Hunter, Anthony Kent, DeWitt Scott and Sean Sonderleiter.

Notre Dame grads Kyle McAlarney and Ryan Ayers were assigned to the Mad Ants by the NBA D-League as allocated players of local significance.

Brandon Cotton, a point guard from the University of Detroit Mercy and Jared Carter, a seven footer from the University of Kentucky, earned training camp roster spots from local player open try-outs.

The remaining eight spots on the training camp roster will be set Thursday as the Mad Ants have the tenth pick in the NBA D-League Draft.
