FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Komet forward Chris Auger will miss Wednesday night's game with Texas and go on injured reserve with a concussion
Auger, tied for the team lead in goals with eleven and third in overall scoring with 21 points, was elbowed by Evansville's Trevor Linden in the third period Saturday night and had to be helped off the ice after lying there for several minutes.
The Central Hockey Leaguie has ruled that Linden's five minute elbowing and game misconduct penalties are the end of the incident, with no additional punishment planned.
Auger is on the ten day injured reserve list.
