Big Eighth Inning Lifts Lake County By TinCaps

EASTLAKE, OHIO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Lake County Captains plated five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to snap a 2-2 tie and take a 7-2 win over the TinCaps Sunday.

Yeison Asencio had four hits and drove in the first TinCaps run in the sixth inning.

Kyle Gaedele singled in the other run in the seventh.

Hitting coach Jacque jones served as acting manager for the second straight day, and will again for Monday night's series finale, as manager Jose Valentin is with his son in Puerto Rico,

The younger Valentin is expected to be a high pick in Monday's baseball amateur draft.
