MARION (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Sources tell Indiana's NewsCenter that Bishop Luers boys basketball coach James Blackmon interviewed Thursday to become the next boys basketball coach at Marion, his high school alma mater.

The job is reportedly Blackmon's to take or not, with fiscal terms the only issue remaining.

His appointment to the job could go before the Marion school board next week.

Blackmon is 117-47 with two 2A state titles in seven seasons at Luers.
