Canterbury Girls Win Minus Farley: Canterbury Boys Fall At South Side

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Canterbury's state ranked basketball teams were on the plus and the minus side of the ledger Tuesday night.

Darby Maggard scored 31 points and Kindell Fincher and Aaliyan Gaines each added 20 as 1A toped ranked Canterbury got by Bishop Dwenger 76-69 despite 36 points by the Saints' Alyssa Gibson.

Canterbury played without senior star Bailey Farley, who was on crutches with a sprained knee, and who is expected to be sidelined for a week.

At South Side, Dominique Gleason scored 22 of his 25 points in the second half as the Archers won for the first time after nine losses 71-60 over 1A ninth ranked Canterbury.

Trent Van Horn topped the Cavs with 30.
