Canterbury, Homestead Among Sectional Soccer Winners (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Host schools Canterbury and Homestead racked up boys soccer sectional opening night wins on Monday night.

Britt Watts banged in a pair of goals as 2A 20th ranked Canterbury, the reigning 1A state champ, shut out Snider 3-0 to earn a semifinal spot Wednesday at Canterbury against unbeaten fifth ranked Carroll.

Anthony Jimenez scored five times as part of Homestead's 16-0 win over Columbia City in the semifinals of the 2A Homestead Sectional, earning a right to play North Side, a 1-0 winner over Huntington North in the other semifinal, in Wednesday night's title game.
