FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - The favored Carroll cross country teams took both semi-state titles Saturday at the Plex.
The Charger girls had their top five within the top 19 finishers and won with 62 points.
The other five teams advancing on to state in Terre Haute next week were Northridge, Concordia, Penn, Homestead, and Huntington North.
Mishawaka sophomore Anna Rohrer set a new state record with her time of 17:03.96, winning by over a full minute.
Carroll's boys were even more dominating in their win with 40 points with all five runners in the top 15 and four of them in the top ten.
The Chargers will be joined as a state qualifying team by Homestead, Dwenger, Northridge, Goshen, and Mishawaka.
Concordia's Zach Panning won individually in 15:37.35.
