Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A foot infection will turn Komets captain and player/assistant Colin Chaulk into more of a coach then a player for the next 3 weeks.
Chaulk says he has an infection in his right foot.
It was in January of 2009 that an infection in his left foot turned into MRSA and sidelined him for more than three-months.
Due to that history, doctors want to take as much precaution as possible.
Chaulk started to feel discomfort the last few days in his foot and noticed what looked like a blister forming. Doctors have decided to be proactive and remove the bump to determine what it is. This procedure will keep Chaulk off the ice for 3 weeks.
