Cold Shooting Ends IPFW Women's Season At UIC (VIDEO)

CHICAGO, Ill. (21 Alive) - A cold shooting second half cost the IPFW women a six point halftime lead and allow Illinois-Chicago to rally for an 84-71 win Wednesday night in the first round of the Women's Basketball Invitational postseason tournament.

The Dons hit just 24 per cent from the field in the second half and were outscored 49-30 after halftime.

What ended up being Amanda Hyde's final game in an IPFW uniform produced 25 points for Hyde, with freshman Ariana Simmons the only other double figure scorer for IPFW with 18

Ruvanna Campbell led UIC with 23 points and 16 rebounds.
