"Diesel" Returns Home After French Cup Title (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Deshaun Thomas is back in Fort Wayne after winning a league championship with his French professional team.

Thomas, 22, spent the last 10 months in France with the Parisian club, JSF Nanterre, which won the French Cup Championship

Thomas averaged 9.5 points per game and 2.8 assists in 10 games.

Thomas is back in the United States, where he will report to Indianapolis for a summer league stint with the San Antonio Spurs. If Thomas does not make the Spurs' roster this summer, he will become a free agent.
