DAYTON, Ohio (21 Alive) - Ohio State transfer Jordan Sibert hit a three pointer as time expired to push Dayton to an 81-80 win over IPFW Saturday in the men's basketball season opener for both teams.

The Dons trailed 44-35 at the half, but went on a big second half run and led by as many as seven in the half.

With seconds remaining and IPFW leading 80-78,, an inbound pass by IPFW's Pierre Bland was intercepted, and Dayton got the ball to Sibert for his big shot and the win.

Dyshawn Pierre led Dayton with 24 points, while Bland topped the Dons with 18.
