Dwenger, Snider Make Carroll Sectional Final; Tuesday Girls Sectional Soccer Scores

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Dwenger and Snider bagged 2A girls sectional soccer wins Tuesday night in contrasting games at Carroll.

Twelfth ranked Dwenger prevailed over No. 7 Carroll 2-1 in penalty kicks, with the Chargers scoring in the first half of regulation on a goal by Kylie Marano.

That was matched by Kellee O'Shaughnessy of Dwenger on a penalty kick in the second half.

The Snider-Northrop match that followed was not close, with the Panthers scoring five times in the first half en route to an 8-1 win over the Bruins, led by four goals from freshman Mikayla Unger.

Dwenger and Snider meet Thursday for the sectional title at Carroll.
