FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Bloomington Blaze netted three goals on an early five minute five on three power play, and held on for a 5-4 win over the Komets Friday night.
Bloomington gained the two man advantage when Komets Nick Boucher and Bryant Molle were each handed five minute major penalties less than two minutes into the game, at which point both were also ejected.
Frankie DeAngelis managed to score two shorthanded goals in that five minute stretch, and Jamie Milam and Jean-Michel Rizk got the Komets close with third period goals, but the K's never recovered from the early missteps.
They host Allen Saturday night in the first ever meeting between the two teams.
