Essex Released by Colts

Indianapolis (Indiana's NewsCenter)- Trai Essex said a few weeks ago when he was signed by the Colts that he wanted to retire with the team. Things haven't worked out they way that Essex would have liked because after just 2 weeks with the team he was released on Tuesday.

Injuries on the defensive side of the ball made it a need to make room on the roster. With the spot the Colts picked up cornerback Darius Butler.
