Four New Sports Tournaments Coming To Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry has announced four new sports tournaments will be coming to Fort Wayne.

The announcement came at a 10:00 a.m. press conference where the mayor introduced the four new tournament that Fort Wayne will be hosting.

They include the PBA Super Senior Classic & Fort Wayne Classic, State Wars-U.S. Roller Hockey Championships, USA Pickleball Great Lakes Regional Championships, and the National United Wrestling Championships. In total, the four tournaments are expected to draw 25,000 visitors to Fort Wayne.

The city will be providing $20,000 in Sports Development Grant Fund dollars to help with holding the four tournaments.
