High School Football Preview: Columbia City

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Columbia City Eagles had a coming out party last year, taking the Northeast Hoosier Conference by storm with a share of the league title.

Quarterback Logan Rehrer and the wide receiver tandum of the Murphy Brothers (Ben & Jared) became familiar names on Friday nights in 2010. Rehrer and Ben Murphy have graduated, but laid a foundation that could make a splash in a tough 4A sectional.

This season also brings heavy hearts with the loss of 2-way player

But with a humble style and gracious attitude, head coach Randy Hudgins hopes to continue the excitement in Columbia City.
