COLUMBIA CITY (Indiana's NewsCenter) - For the second year, Columbia City ran its version of summer seven on seven for linemen on Friday night.
It was the Columbia City Linemen Challenge, with teams from Homestead, Columbia City, Churubusco, and Lakeland competing in events such as the farmers walk with 5 gallon buckets, hay bale flip, sled push, obstacle course, and medicine ball toss.
Columhia City coach Randy Hudgins, who started this event, says, "With all of the attention paid to 7 on 7’s for the so-called “skill” positions, we wanted to have an event for the most important players on the field…the linemen.
