Homestead, Carroll, Garrett Seasons End With Regional Semifinal Losses (VIDEO)

UNDATED (21 Alive) - 4A third ranked Homestead, upset minded Carroll, and 3A third ranked unbeaten Garrett were all sidelined in girls basketball regional semifinals on Saturday.

Fishers ended Homestead's season with a 61-46 whipping of the Spartans at Kokomo, led by the 27 points of Alex Hochstedler.

Sydney Buck tallied 20 in her final game as a Homestead Spartan.

Carroll built an early twelve point lead on Logansport in the second semifinal, but the favored Berries roared back to claim a 64-58 win over the Chargers, with Whitney Jennings showing the way with 29 points.

Madison Peterson's 17 points were high for Carroll.

Garrett's perfect season was ended in the 3A Bellmont Regional semifinals by Muncie Central 48-35, as Jayla Scaife erupted late to lead the Bearcats with 20 points.

Brandi Dawson's final game with 23-1 Garrett was a team best 17 point effort.
