Hoop Standouts Sims, Rupright Ink College Letters

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Snider's Akilah Sims and Norwell's Jessica Rupright, two of the top girls basketball players in northeast Indiana, signed college letters of intent Thursday.

Sims, a Junior All Star last season when she helped lead Snider to a 4A sectional title, is headed off to IUPUI, where she will study nursing.

Rupright, also a Junior All Star and Northeast Hoosier Conference Player of the Year, is headed to Miami of Ohio, with a major of education.
