The Hoosiers, now 8-0, fell behind 9-2 early, but slapped the pressure defense on and started making shots.
Victor Oladipo and Will Sheehey each had 14 points to top the Hoosiers, while Christian Watford and Remy Abell each added ten.
Taariq Cephas paced Coppin State with 13 points.
