FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Down by as many 14 in the second half, IPFW rallied by holding Miami of Ohio without a field goal for a seven-minute span, and used Mario Hines' lay-in with two seconds left to claim a 57-56 homecoming win Saturday night.
The biggest crowd to watch the Dons at home in two seasons, 3,033, saw Joe Edwards lead a balanced attack with ten points, while Hines, Frank Gaines, and Michael Kibiloski each had nine, Kevin Harden eight, and Isaiah McCray seven.
Miami was led by Will Felder with 15 points.
The Mastodons return to action on Wednesday at Valparaiso.
