IPFW Upset Bid Falls Short At Illinois (VIDEO)

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (21 Alive) IPFW led by eight at halftime, before Illinois fought back to edge the Mastodons 57-55.

The Dons fell to 6-3 with the tough loss, and those three losses have come by a total of four points.

The Mastodons were led by Luis Jacobo's 15 points, while Pierre Bland scored 12, as Steve Forbes and Mo Evans each scored 11.

Illinois was led by Rayvonte Rice, who scored a game-high 17 points, with Tracy Abrams adding 15 in the win.

The Mastodons return to action on Tuesday at Miami of Ohio.
