BALTIMORE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - I'll Have Another will seek just that in the June 9th Belmont Stakes after snagging the Preakness Stakes in a late charge from favored Bodemeister Saturday, just as I'll Have Another did in the Kentucky Derby.
I'll Have Another, who has never entered any of his seven career races as the favorite, ran down Bodemeister in the stretch and won by the tight margin of a neck.
I'll Have Another's owners said after the race he will be at the Belmont, but Bodemeister's owners will not run him in that mile and a half event.
I'll Have Another will seek to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.
