NOTRE DAME (www.incnow.tv) - Everett Gholson ran in from a yard out in the third overtime to give third ranked unbeaten Notre Dame a 29-26 win over Pittsburgh Saturday.
The Irish trailed 20-6 in the fourth quarter when Gholson and the offense finally caught fire.
Gholson hit T.J. Jones for one touchdown, hit Theo Riddick for another, and ran in the tying two point conversion himself after Riddick's score to force overtime at 20-20.
Both teams hit field goals in the first overtime, neither scored in the second, and Gholson scored his game winning touchdown after the Panthers had gone in front on a field goal.
