Irish Take Down BYU On Senior Day

NOTRE DAME, Ind. (21 Alive) - Tommy Rees throw for 225 yards and a touchdown in his final game in Notre Dame Stadium as the Irish topped BYU Saturday 23-13.

Rees hit DaVaris Dainels with a 61 yard touchdown pass on the first Irish possession, and Tarean Folston ran for a two yard score to cap the second possession.

The rest of the Notre Dame scoring came from three Kyle Brindza field goals over the final three quarters.

The Irish, now 8-3, close out the season at Stanford next week
