NOTRE DAME (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Kyle Brindza booted a 27 yard field goal with eight seconds remaining to give Notre Dame a 20-17 win over Purdue on Saturday.
The Irish drove down close after Purdue had tied the game on the second Robert Marve to Antavian Edison touchdown pass hookup earlier in the fourth quarter.
Everett Gholson ran for the first Notre Dame touchdown and passed for the second.
