(Dayton, Ohio)- Nick Boucher became the first CHL goalie to tally a 3rd shutout on the season and the Komets got a 4-0 win over Dayton on the road Friday night.

Brett Smith got the scoring started in the first and then the K's added 3 more in the second. Boucher stopped all 28 shots he faced on the night.

The K's have a 3 point lead on first place in the Turner Conference headed into the holiday weekend. Don't miss Sound Off with the Komets on Monday night, Dec. 26th at 7:30 on 21Alive from Wrigley Field Bar & Grill. Bobby Chaumont and Bryant Molle will be our guests.
