FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - The Komets dropped to 0-5 at the Memorial Cioliseum this season against the Toledo Walleye with their 5-3 loss to visiting Toledo Friday night.
The Walleye scored two early second period goals to take the lead for good, and then after Mike Hoban brought the K's within one later in the second, Toledo extended the lead to 4-1 with two scores in the third.
Goals in the final four minutes by Daniel Maggio and Luca Caputi closed the margin back to a goal before time ran out on the K's, who move into Kalamazoo Saturday night.
Toledo added a late empty net goal for the final margin.
