EVANSVILLE (www.incnow.tv) - Brandon Marino scored twice in the second period, including the goal that broke a 2-2 tie, and the Komets came out of the ECHL All Star break with a 4-2 win at Evansville Saturday night.
The Komets rallied after spotting the Icemen two first period goals.
John Dunbar scored the tying goal in between the two second period scores by Marino, and Brett Smith added an insurance score on the power play in the third period.
Kenny Reiter turned back 20 of 22 shots in goal for the win.
The K's next see action Wednesday night in Kalamazoo.
