ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO (www.incnow.tv) - Cody Sol scored a pair of goals in the first period as the Colorado Eagles ripped the Komets 6-1 Saturday night in the finale of the Komets' three game visit to the Rockies.

Only Thomas Beauregard's second period score prevented a shutout of the K's who were outshot 30-14 in the game.

The Komets now head back east with two more road games, starting in Cincinnati Tuesday, before they return home next Saturday against Evansville.
