KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN (www.incnow.tv) - Brett Lysak scored twice as the Kalamazoo K-Wings thumped the Komets 6-2 Saturday night, snapping the Ks' five game win streak.
Stephon Thorne got the Komets back even with his first period goal, and after Kalamazoo had scored twice, Matt Firman got Fort Wayne back within one on a shorthanded breakaway score in the second period.
But the K-Wings scored twice more in the second to pull away and added their final goal in the third period to finish the win off.
The Komets try to start a new winning streak when they host Toledo on Friday night.
