FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCentter) - The Komets Thursday announced the signings of winger Kaleigh Schrock and defenseman Craig Cescon, both Komets last season, and the addition of Chris Auger.
The Fort Wayne native Schrock, 26, has appeared in 136 Komet regular season games over the past two seasons with 35 goals, 56 points, and 310 penalty minutes.
Schrock was the Komets' "Rookie of the Year" for 2009-10 and has been honored with the Komets' "Mr. Hustle Award" each of the last two seasons.
Cescon, 24, will be entering his second consecutive season with Fort Wayne and fifth year as a pro. Cescon was named the Komets' "Unsung Hero" for 2010-11 after leading with 174 penalty minutes and had one goal and five assists.
Auger, 22, made his pro debut last year with Mississippi in the CHL scoring 14 goals and 25 points in 42 games.
Schrock, Cescon and Auger bring the Komets' preseason roster to seven players.
The Komets also announced preseason games with Dayton on October 14th in Dayton and October 16th in Fort Wayne.
