FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets scored a goal in each period and racked up a 3-1 win over the Dayton Gems Saturday night.
The game was two seconds old when the K's Brent Henley amd the Gems' Robin Richard fought and went off with major penalties.
Bobby Chaumont tallied in the opening period, Chris Auger in the middle period, and Jesse Bennefield added his insurance goal in the third.
The K's next play at Evansville on Wednesday night.
