Local Team Finalists In Curling Event

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) – Three exciting matches ended the 3rd Annual Fort Wayne Summerspiel, at the Lutheran Health SportsCenter Sunday.

Fort Wayne Summerspiel featured three divisions of curling – elite, open, and five years or less, with 45 teams from all over the Midwest competing.

For the first time in Summerspiel history, a Fort Wayne team made it to the finals of any divisions. Team Nottingham lost a close match to Team Wickman out of Columbus, Ohio in the five and under division. Team Nottingham was Andrew Nottingham, Dan McCoy, Tom Israel, and Phil Mussallem.
