Mad Ants Down Canton, Gained Weekend Series Split (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind (21 Alive) - The Mad Ants earned a weekend split against the Canton Charge with a 105-95 victory Saturday night at the Memorial Coliseum.

Ron Howard bounced back from a rough night against the Charge the night before and led all scorers with 25 points in the win.

Besides Howard’s 25, Peyton Siva scored 18, Trey McKinney-Jones had 17, Tony Mitchell chipped in 12, and Will Frisby scored eleven.

Canton was paced Gilbert Brown’s 17 points and Jorge Gutierrez’s 15 points.

The Mad Ants, now 16-11 and a game behind Canton in the D League East Division, next see action at Erie on Wednesday.
